Quiet, Sleeps 2 plus one child Toad Hall is only 15min from the historic towns of Dartmouth, Totnes, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Dartmouth Golf and Country Club is near as well as numerous very good pubs and restaurants.
First impressions . As you drive down the lane you catch a glimpse of the sea telling you that you're near one of the most beautiful coastlines in Britain. Birdsong is the only sound you'll hear (maybe the odd tractor). Footpath signs beckon you to explore the area. Just turn left at the bottom of the hill and at the second entrance on the left, you've arrived!! There's picket fencing and the drive leads to TOAD HALL!
You open the car door, stretch your legs after your journey, you click the little gate, smell the tubs of flowers in the sunny courtyard and you turn the key to open the door and you're in.....
TOAD HALL IS DIFFERENT
It has a beautifully illustrated ceiling. The new kitchen gleams and the ready made four poster bed beckons warmly. The Log Burner is laid ready. On beyond, you get a peep of the modern bathroom and through a curtain, a little bed. Your next move might be to stretch your legs. Outside, brush aside the weeping beech, note the distant views, twist an apple off an apple tree. You feel at home already and return for the delicous Hutcherleigh cake freshly baked for you. There is all you need from tea towels to toilet paper
